The Carroll family, led by Charles Negus Carroll, were Mormon converts from Canada who settled in Utah. Charles Negus Carroll was born in 1817 in New Brunswick, Canada. After converting to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints he eventually journeyed to Utah, and married four times.
